View incredible sunrises from the 4-season porch or relax on the dock benches to enjoy some early morning solitude watching the loons and gulls. Lake Pointe is a 4,000 sq. ft. two-story home, which has huge windows facing the lake and brings the outside inside. The main level features the kitchen, living room, dining room, master bedroom suite, office, four-season porch, laundry room and a second full bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is large and open with an island counter featuring a stove top, vegetable sink with disposal, ample counter space surrounded by a higher counter which seats four. The kitchen also has a six-person table as well as a high chair. It’s finished with all your favorite appliances and then some: range, electric oven, dishwasher, compactor, microwave, disposal and refrigerator complete with ice maker. A second refrigerator is also available in the garage. The spacious kitchen is well-stocked with pots and pans, utensils, platters, dishes, glassware and more for large and small gatherings. Wood floors lead the way through beveled glass doors onto the 4-season porch, which has comfortable seating, a television, as well as another table which seats four. The main floor also features an 18’ ceiling with floor-to-ceiling remote-controlled gas fireplace and massive windows with incredible lake views. Comfortable seating is plentiful near a large TV/DVD/VCR for those rainy days or late evenings. The formal dining room has a table to seat ten and includes china for that special occasion. The kitchen has a desk with access to dial-up internet service. The office stores books, games, a small desk, VCR tapes, CDs as well as a pull-out sofa for that extra sleeping space you may need . The master bedroom suite has a wall of windows facing the lake, a king size bed, TV/DVD/VCR, a powder room, walk-in closet, and a huge master bath with a Roman tub as its centerpiece. Take the open, curved stairway to the second level, which reaches a balcony overlooking the living room and a stunning view of Lake Latoka. There are five large bedrooms — three with queen size beds, two with twin size beds. A crib is located in one of the twin bedrooms. Two bedrooms have beautiful views of the lake, two have views overlooking the large front lawn and fountain, and the fifth has a view of the south side of the lake. All have large closets and plenty of storage space. There is a full bathroom stocked with plentiful towels. The level lot is ideal for outside activities. Large patios with outdoor furniture frame the lakeside of the house and lead to both a sandy beach and the docks. A beautifully landscaped patio on one side of the pointe is ideally situated to sit and watch small children on the sandy beach. The other side of the pointe features deeper water where you can fish from the docks or board the pontoon for a lake excursion. If a little rest and relaxation is your goal, you may enjoy sitting on the dock benches watching the waterfowl and enjoying the sunrise over the lake or simply observing the fish swimming in the shadows of the dock. For additional on-site recreation, gather your team and try the shuffleboard court, the horseshoe pit, volleyball or basketball. A paddleboat is also available for a more active lake excursion. Life vests are a must. Some adult life vests are available, but to insure proper fit, please bring along life vests for you and your children. According to state law, all children under 10 must wear a life vest at all times on the water. Adults must have one as well, and, of course, wearing it is also recommended. A kayak and canoe will need to be arranged for in advance. |
